Appointments

In order to give our patients the timeliest care in our office, we ask that you review our policies regarding late arrival and canceling appointments.

Desjarlais Dermatology

Late Arrivals & Missed Appointments

In order to provide every patient with the best care in the timeliest manner, we ask that you arrive on time for your appointment. If you are more than 10 minutes late for an appointment, we will be forced to reschedule that appointment. We cannot guarantee that we can fit you in that day. Our office reserves the right to charge a minimal $40.00 Broken (No-Show) Appointment Fee. If multiple appointments are missed, this could result in dismissal from our care.

Canceling Your Appointment

If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, we ask that you give at least 24-hour notice so we can reserve the time for another patient. Our office reserves the right to charge a minimal $40.00 Broken (No-Show) Appointment Fee. If multiple appointments are missed, this could result in dismissal from our care.

Desjarlais Aesthetic Center

Credit Card on File (CCFO) Policy

Desjarlais Aesthetic Center will require all patients keep an active Credit Card on File (CCOF) with us. Your information is stored in a secure site through our credit processor, not at our location. Please note that you can continue to make purchases with your current preferred payment method, including cash, personal check, or a credit card processed at check-out. The CCOF serves as a backup payment method for your and our convenience.

We will only charge your card during these circumstances:

·      Preferred payment method may have been forgotten

·      Missed or canceled appointments without 24-hour notice

·      Any outstanding balance from a visit to the practice

Payment Options

Dr. Desjarlais Dermatology accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and Care Credit. Some procedures may qualify for insurance coverage. Our office accepts most insurance plans, with a few exceptions. Please call the office to see if your insurance is accepted at our office.

In-Office Prescription Program

Lawrence Desjarlais, MD, PC Dermatology is Physician Dispensing Association Accredited (PDAA) to dispense our patients’ topical prescription medication from our medical office. Because physicians are allowed to dispense medications in their medical practice to their own patients, there is now an alternative to the pharmacy.

Our In-office Prescription Program is a convenient medication dispensing program that allows our patients to get topical prescriptions in our office; no need to go to the pharmacy or hassle with insurance. Plus, you can rest assured it’s the exact medication your provider wants you to have for your specific condition.
